To replace the handbrake boot on a Chevrolet Sail, use a tool to pry off the clips located at the base of the handbrake boot. Once the clips are removed, pull the old boot upward, being careful with the plastic-covered part of the handbrake lever. After the old boot is removed, install the new one: make sure to fit the leather covering carefully over the plastic part of the lever and insert the retaining clips at the base.
