How to Replace the Shift Boot on the Chevrolet Sail?

Model: Chevrolet Sail MK 3 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Shifter boot

Using a flat object, detach the plastic surrounding the shifter, lift it, and remove the connectors. Grasp the shift knob and pull it forcefully upward to detach it. The plastic base and the shift boot will come off, which you need to separate from all other components. Keep these parts carefully as they are necessary to reassemble the shifter. Take the new boot and reconnect the various parts using appropriate adhesive for the material. Finally, reposition the knob on top of the lever, reconnect the connectors, and snap the plastic base back into place.
