Today we will explain how to replace the shift knob of the Chevrolet Corvette, model C6. The shift knob is secured to the base with a clamp, and to replace it, you need to cut the clamp. Next, we rotate the knob counterclockwise, which will allow us to loosen its grip on the shift mechanism, and by pulling firmly upward, we can easily remove it. After removing the knob, we insert the new one by positioning it at the base of the mechanism and pushing it in. It is very important during this operation not to damage the shift mechanism by pulling or pushing too hard.
