How to Replace the Clutch Pedal Spring on a Chevrolet Corvette C6

This guide shows how to replace the return spring of the clutch pedal on a Chevrolet Corvette C6. You will need long-nose pliers to make the job easier. From the pedal assembly, remove the retaining clip securing the pliers to the pedal by levering it off. To remove the spring from the two side attachment points on the pedal, simply lever the spring until it comes off the attachment point. To install the new spring, first insert the two ends into the side brackets, and after fully depressing the pedal, engage the bracket onto the pedal lever. Check the correct operation of the pedal.
