Replacement of the Citroen car remote battery

To replace the drained battery of the remote control that opens and closes the doors of Citroen cars, press the metal button on one side, and release the metal blade; using a small flathead screwdriver, pry in the groove on the opposite edge, and separate the two shells. Remove the electronic board and, using the screwdriver, remove the old battery from its slot. Insert a new CR1620 battery in its place, making sure to position the polarity correctly, then put the electronic board back in place, and join the two shells by pressing firmly.
