This video explains how to save the traction battery of a Citroen car: for example, instead of turning on the heating, we can turn on the heated seat, which consumes much less. We start the car with the hybrid option, then, setting the destination, the GPS will determine, based on speed limits and the road to follow, whether it is better to start the thermal engine or the electric one, in order to maintain the lower consumption between the two; essentially the system prefers electric in the city and thermal on the main roads. It is also possible to set a small amount of available power for areas where electric is needed; the car will not consume it. On the central console we then have the "B" button which stands for "brake" that recovers energy when we lift our foot off the accelerator, so that braking is almost useless.
