Resolution of the pedal sensor problem on a Citroen C3 1.4 H

In this video we can see how to solve the problem of a throttle pedal sensor of a Citroen C3 1.4 DHi which is manifested by the error light coming on; the engine then went into protection mode for several starts, and a diagnosis showed error code P2137, so it was necessary to order a new pedal, which can be found for example on carsystemfp.com with code 0280755084 at the price of 25.00 euros. We will remove the three plastic rivets on the partition above the pedal, which will then come off easily. We need a 10 mm torx key, which we will use to remove the two nuts holding the pedal: from the slot under the steering wheel we locate the gray plug, pull up the orange part, and lift the gray tab. Once the pedal is removed, we need to identify the three pins, reattach them and then reconnect the electrical connectors that we had previously removed. Now with our OBD2 reader we check, but the error is still there, in fact error code P2137 has been added as well. However, after a few starts, the codes have self-cleared; probably the new part was recognized, or after multiple starts the lights clear themselves.
