Excessive overheating of the engine can cause a loss of seal in the cylinder head gasket with consequent consumption of coolant and the inability to keep the temperature of the engine constant, since the liquid tends to boil. To replace the cylinder head gasket it is therefore necessary to disassemble the cylinder head itself by removing all the elements that interfere with it (engine supports, timing belt, exhaust manifold ...). Once the head has been placed on the bench, flatten the seat of the gasket with a dowel and very thin abrasive paper, taking care not to lose the flatness of the surface (use a ground bar as a stop); in this regard it is suggested to have a flattening carried out by an expert rectifier. Then install the new gasket, reassemble the cylinder head by tightening the pins in a crossed pattern and respecting the tightening torque. Reassemble what was previously removed, bring the coolant to level, start the engine and wait for the fan to switch on, checking that the liquid does not boil; in the first few days, keep the liquid level under control.

How to manually open the tailgate of the Nissan Qashqai

Let's see in this guide the steps that will allow us to open the tailgate manually in an emergency situation, when the lock does not work, of the Nissan Qashqai. First we open the rear door and begin by reclining the backrest; then let's move to the inside of the tailgate and use something thin like a flat screwdriver to release our lock, as shown in the video.
