First, open the bonnet and locate the temperature sensor, which is found at the top of the engine block; then disconnect its electrical connector and unscrew the sensor using a spanner to remove it. At this point, check that the wiring from the thermostat to the cooling fan is in good condition; then reinstall the new temperature sensor!
