Replacing the Thermostat on the Citroen C3 1.4 HDI

This guide shows you how to remove and replace the coolant thermostat on the Citroen C3 1.4 HDI. First, open the bonnet and start by removing the battery and battery tray, unscrewing the securing screws and disconnecting the terminals; then disconnect the coolant hose to drain the fluid into a container, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the thermostat screws to remove it, replacing it with the new one; install and secure it properly, finally pouring in the new antifreeze!
