The YouTuber expresses a provocative yet pragmatic position: their viewpoint is that this is an engine with a known and costly defect that must be addressed with awareness. The belt immersed in oil tends to degrade faster than others, but if you plan financially for the belt replacement, it becomes just scheduled maintenance.
