The remote control for Citroen vehicles operates using a battery, specifically the Panasonic CR 2032 model, which is three volts. When the remote control battery runs low, it needs to be replaced. To do this independently, we need to equip ourselves with a flathead screwdriver. We insert the small screwdriver along the side of the remote control cover and, applying a slight leverage, we remove the cover. We take out the worn battery and insert the new one; then we close the remote control cover and position ourselves near the vehicle. We press the open and close buttons on the remote to check if it works; if not, it may be necessary to reprogram the remote.
