The high-amperage fuses hidden on the Citroen C1.

In this video, we see that on the Citroen C1 (as well as its siblings, the Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo), the main fuse box has a section with 120 Ampere fuses that is generally not visible. This section is hidden under a plastic cover at the bottom of the fuse box; to see it, the lower panel of the box itself must be removed. In the video, we see that after removing the panel, the main 120 Ampere fuse in that section is blown. This fuse is the main one for the electrical system, so if it blows, it causes a total loss of electrical power and prevents the car from starting because there is no current reaching the starter motor. If one is unaware of the existence of this hidden section (since all the visible fuses are intact), it can lead to long and costly diagnoses that yield no results.
