Window Regulator Mechanism Installation

The failure of the window regulator mechanism is a common issue and can affect the motor, the plastic clips that secure the glass, or the steel cable that controls the pulleys for raising and lowering the glass. Installing the new mechanism requires first removing the door panel to detach the glass from the clips and remove the old mechanism. Then, attach the motor to the new mechanism and insert it into the door, securing it to the appropriate mounting points. Next, connect the glass to the plastic clips, connect the power supply to the motor, perform a functionality check, and reinstall the panel.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
