The cabin air filter should be replaced periodically, and it is a crucial operation for both the driver and passenger health as it helps filter the air effectively. This task can be done without visiting a mechanic; just have a good level of manual dexterity, saving you some money. Once you locate the air filter, gently pull it out. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws from the cover that protects it, grasp it with your thumb, and pull it out of its housing. At this point, simply take the new cabin filter, ensuring it is placed in exactly the same position as the old one, sliding it carefully into place.
