Replacing the diesel filter on a DS3? Remove the filter and all its parts. Lift the front engine cover and locate the diesel filter as shown in the video. Disconnect all the circulation pipes and electrical connectors, then remove the filter container from the engine bay. Remove the top part from the lower filter and fit a new one. Install the diesel filter in the engine bay (reconnect pipes and cables) and tighten the appropriate pins. Close the front cover after replacement. Start the DS3 engine and check the operation.

If the lever that unlocks the bonnet of the Renault Megane is broken or not functioning, there is an emergency procedure to unlock the mechanism: remove the right front grille located at the top of the bumper.
