Replacing the pollen filter in your car is one of the less complicated maintenance tasks that can be done alone with a bit of attention, without necessarily needing a mechanic's help. The replacement should be done every 10,000 miles or at least once a year. First, obtain a new filter that matches the one being replaced. The air filter is located under the glove compartment. Gently remove the cover so that the pollen filter can come out easily by pulling it towards you.
