In this video we see a rather empirical method - but certainly effective, albeit a bit uncomfortable - to solve not just one problem, but two: that of the heating not working in the car and that of the poor availability of spare parts for this specific model. And all this at zero cost! What did our youtuber come up with? He simply removed the partition in the driver's footwell. There is a linkage that gets stuck: if it remains stuck at the top, cold air comes out of the vents, and if it remains stuck at the bottom, hot air comes out of the vents. So a few times a year all you need to do is move the lever up or down, depending on the season, and the problem is fixed.
