Disassembly of Renault / Dacia push-button panel

Model: Dacia Dacia Various
Part: Push button

In this video we will see how to remove the front and rear window control panel on various Renault / Dacia models. First of all, let's open the door: to disassemble our push-button panel we will need to pry the edges of it: so let's equip ourselves with a lever (possibly in plastic so as not to damage the components) and apply it in several points so that we can unhook it. Once done, we see that on the back there are three electrical connectors: to remove them you have to press the levers with something sharp and unhook them very gently so as not to break the supports.

It is well known that this device can be faulty, starting with vibrations in the steering wheel and potentially leading to total deactivation with the corresponding warning light illuminated on the dashboard. The fault is often due to wear on the torque sensor integrated within the steering system, but failures related to the control unit are not uncommon. To resolve this issue, it is advisable to have a refurbished power steering unit installed, fully covered by warranty.
