To perform this replacement, you need to remove the corner protectors and the upper one at the edge with the tailgate. Just pull them towards you to release the clips, then disconnect the various connectors.

Now, you must remove the seal at the corner of your vehicle; this way, you will have access to the support to be replaced. Observe the mounting direction before removing the old part and installing the new one. Then, remove the bolts and install the new one, retracing the steps for reassembling the various components removed.
