In this video, learn how to remove the hatch lift supports on a Porsche Cayenne. First, open the rear hatch of the vehicle. Then, use a plastic trim tool to remove the side cover of the trunk, along with the clips and screws. Use a screwdriver to remove any screws (if present) on the plastic cover of the hatch. Detach the plastic cover from the hatch, then use a socket wrench to remove the mounting bolts of the gas lift supports. Finally, install the new lift supports with the mounting bolts and clips to secure the plastics of the hatch and trunk cover.
