Many models from the Turin manufacturer are equipped with EPS (Electric Power Steering), known as 'city' due to the button on the dashboard that activates the dual drive function, making the steering even lighter at low speeds. It is well known that this device can be faulty, starting with vibrations in the steering wheel and potentially leading to total deactivation with the corresponding warning light illuminated on the dashboard. The fault is often due to wear on the torque sensor integrated within the steering system, but failures related to the control unit are not uncommon. To resolve this issue, it is advisable to have a refurbished power steering unit installed, fully covered by warranty.
