How to Install an Additional Multijet Control Unit on a Lancia Ypsilon

Here’s how to install an additional control unit on a Lancia Ypsilon Multijet: this will increase performance and reduce consumption. Disconnect the common rail pressure sensor connector; now connect the disconnected connector to the input signal of the control unit. The male connector of the additional control unit should be reconnected to the common rail pressure sensor. Open the control unit and check the correct position of the jumpers (power from 1 to 10 and presence of the DPF). Now turn on the ignition without starting the engine, and wait for the LED to stop flashing. Then start the engine and check that no warning lights are illuminated on the dashboard. At this point, you can place the additional control unit in the engine bay in a stable and secure position.
