In this tutorial we can see how to replace the motor oil in the Ducati Monster 1200, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is sufficiently cold, then place a container underneath the motorcycle, locate the drain hole bolt and unscrew it using a 5mm hex key. Let all the oil in the system drain out, unscrew the old filter and tighten both the bolt and the replacement. At this point, all that's left to do is pour the necessary amount of oil through the top hole.
