Today, I will show you how to change the engine oil and the filter on your Ducati Monster 1200. First, take a bowl to drain the used oil and place it under the drain plug. Now, unscrew the oil drain plug using a hex key. While the oil drains completely, using a strap wrench, proceed to remove the old oil filter and insert the new one (it is advisable to 'wet' the gasket with a bit of oil and fill it with new oil before fitting). Now, refit the oil drain plug, and you will have finished the job.
