Oil and Oil Filter Change for a Ducati Scrambler

Guide for changing the oil and oil filter on a Ducati Scrambler 800. Position the bike on a lift or rear stand. Remove the engine guard located under the engine using a ratchet and a 4mm socket.

Place a container for oil recovery under the engine. Using a 5mm Allen key, unscrew the oil drain plug located under the engine on the right side.

Allow all the oil to drain out. Using an oil filter wrench, unscrew the oil filter located under the engine. Lubricate the seal of the new filter (HIFLO HF153). Refit the oil drain plug.

Open the oil filler cap located on the right side of the engine. Pour in the oil (4 litres of Valvoline 10w40) according to the inspection hole.
