To change the engine oil in a Ducati 748, you need to unscrew the screws securing the panel on the right side of the bike, completely removing it to access the components underneath. Here, at the bottom of the bike, is the drain plug that needs to be unscrewed to collect the used oil in a suitably positioned container. Once all the oil has drained out, you can remove the oil filter located on the right side of the bike and replace it with a new one. Then, you can pour in the new oil through the designated hole and reattach the side panel.
