Start by removing the left fairing by taking out the relevant screws, then open the battery housing by unscrewing the single fixing bolt. Once done, disconnect both terminals starting with the negative, remove the battery, and insert the replacement.

Finally, reconnect the positive terminal, then the negative, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
