To replace the battery of the remote for the Ducati Multistrada 1200S, press the button located on the top of the remote to lever it out of its housing. This will allow you to separate the two halves of the remote to access the internal components.

Here, you will find the coding chip, which must be extracted along with the attached battery. After removing the old battery, insert the new one and reposition the coding chip inside the remote.
