To change the engine oil of the Ducati 996, loosen the drain plug of the oil reservoir located on the casing at the lower part of the right side of the bike: once this plug is removed, allow all the used oil to flow into a container placed underneath. At this point, unscrew the oil filter from its housing to replace it with a new one. After replacement, close the drain plug and top up through the breather at the top of the casing.
