How do you change the engine oil on a Ducati 996?

In order to change the engine oil of the Ducati 996, it is necessary to loosen the oil tank drain plug, which is located on the crankcase positioned in the lower part of the right side of the bike: once this plug has been unscrewed, it will be possible let all the used oil flow into a tray that will have to be placed underneath. At this point, the oil filter can be unscrewed from inside its housing, so that it can be replaced with a new one. After replacement, you can close the drain plug and top up from the vent in the upper part of the crankcase.

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts.
