How to replace the front brake pads on the Ducati 899?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the front brake pads on the Ducati 899, a very simple and fast operation. First of all, position ourselves in front of the brake in question, then identify the indicated metal clip and release it. We then unscrew the central bolt with a Torx T30 key, unscrew the two external bolts with an 8mm hex key and separate the caliper from both the disc and the fork. Finally, open the cap of the brake fluid reservoir, remove the old pads and position the replacement ones. To put everything back together, simply follow the reverse procedure.

How do you bleed the Gilera Nexus 500 brakes?

In order to bleed the Gilera Nexus 500 brakes, you need to open the drawer that is located in correspondence with the knob, unscrewing the fixing screws of the cover. Once this has been opened, it will be possible to insert a small tube inside the vent on the brake caliper: therefore, by opening the valve, the brake fluid can be collected inside a container. When all the fluid has flowed out, it will be possible to fill in the new brake oil from the vent that was previously opened by removing the cover next to the knob.
