To change the oil in a Ducati Monster 1100, first make sure the motorcycle is positioned on a flat and stable surface. Start by warming up the engine for a few minutes; this will help the oil to flow more easily. Turn off the engine and let it cool slightly. Lift the motorcycle with a stand to get easier access to the oil pan. Under the engine, locate the oil drain plug, which is usually located at the bottom of the oil pan. Place a collection container under the plug and unscrew it with a suitable wrench, allowing the used oil to drain completely. Once all the oil has drained out, replace the drain plug and tighten it properly. Fill it with new oil through the designated filling point, making sure to use the recommended oil in the owner's manual. Check the oil level and add more if necessary. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to ensure that the new oil circulates correctly. Finally, turn off the engine, check the oil level again, and adjust if necessary. Dispose of the used oil according to local regulations.
