The oil change on the Royal Enfield Classic 500 is done by loosening the drain plug located in the central lower part of the motorcycle: once this plug is removed, it will be possible to drain all the used oil into a properly positioned container. Once all the oil has drained out, the plug can be closed and the screws securing the oil filter protection panel on the right side of the motorcycle can be loosened. This will allow for the oil filter to be replaced, and finally, the oil can be topped up through the breather located on the right side of the motorcycle.
