It is now quite well known that fuel caps on many models from the Turin manufacturer have a certain defect related to the fact that the internal mechanism is made up of plastic gears: one of the most annoying defects is that the cap tends to open even without a key; many have attempted repairs that, although they remedy this problem, do not make the cap function correctly, as it must be handled with care at all times; the most effective and at the same time decidedly economical solution is to replace the cap with a competitive one, always equipped with a locking key and a dedicated vent valve.
