Removing the Thermostat from a Fiat Punto

In today's video tutorial, you will see how to remove the thermostat from a Fiat Punto. First, lift the vehicle and, using a 13 mm spanner, open the bleed valve to drain all the coolant from the circuit and the tank; then unscrew the hex bolts of the thermostat and remove the clip from the radiator hose leading to the thermostat. Once removed, obtain a new thermostat or repair the old one by replacing the gasket and spring. For reassembly, reconnect all hoses and the sensor, and finally reposition and screw in the bolts.
