In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the thermostat in the Fiat Grande Punto, a very simple and quick operation. First, wait for the engine to be completely cold, then open the expansion tank cap, place a container under the radiator, and drain all the coolant from the system by opening the appropriate valve.

Next, locate the thermostat, disconnect the various hoses and connectors attached to it, and unscrew the two fixing bolts with a socket spanner. At this point, you can separate the thermostat from the engine, position the replacement, reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure, and add new coolant.
