How do you remove the thermostat on a Fiat Grande Punto? Watch this video to see where and how to remove the thermostat. Lift the bonnet, unscrew the bolts on the thermostat housing cap as shown in the video (use a socket wrench with the appropriate sockets), remove the sealing cap, and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing. Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one and close the housing with the cap. Tighten the bolts properly, and you have completed the installation. Ensure that the valve is correctly inserted and fitted into the appropriate housing.
