Today we will explain how to replace the timing belt of the 2008 Fiat Punto. To perform this operation, we need to open the front hood and use a 13 mm key to loosen the pulley. While holding the pulley in place, we remove the belt. To reintroduce the timing belt on this type of vehicle, we cannot insert it from the top and rotate it while tensioning it, but it is necessary to insert it inside the pulley from below and then raise it upwards. Once the belt is inserted, we tighten the pulley and start the vehicle's engine to bring it back into position.
