The oil warning light comes on when it is necessary to replace or top up the engine oil; the maintenance required varies based on the colour of the light. In our video tutorial, the light on the 2021 Fiat Ducato is orange, so you will need to proceed with an oil change.

The oil to be used for the change is "Selenia", available online or at auto parts shops. To top up, open the front bonnet by pulling the release lever.

Remove the oil cap and pour in the necessary amount to reach the maximum line. Check that the oil added matches the required amount using the dipstick.

Finally, close the cap and the front bonnet, get in the vehicle, and proceed to reset the light. Turn on the instrument panel and press the menu button, select the "service" option, and then "engine oil". Hold down the OK button to complete the reset procedure.

In the "engine oil" section, you will then be able to see the oil level in the tank.
