How to Remove Brake Pads on Fiat Grande Punto

Are the front disc brake pads worn out? Here’s how to remove them from above the disc. Lift the car on a column lift, then remove the wheel using a telescopic spanner (unscrew the bolts). Unscrew the locking pin of the brake caliper and remove it from the wheel support. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads to be replaced from the wheel hub caliper, then remove the brake caliper. Fit the new pads onto the caliper, then refit the brake caliper with the support onto the disc. Tighten all the bolts and refit the wheel. Remove the car's pads in pairs for balanced braking.
