Replacing Left Dipped Beam Bulb

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

This procedure applies to most cars on the market; the difficulty lies in accessing the back of the headlamp and, of course, the bulb type. Some vehicles may have very tight spaces, and it may be necessary to remove the headlamp completely, but the bulb replacement procedure is the same. In this example, a Fiat Grande Punto is considered, replacing the left front bulb, type H4. Required tool: flat screwdriver. Manually remove the circular protective cap, detach the silver metal spring holding the bulb in place. Pry between the bulb and the connector to separate them. Once the connector is detached, remove the old bulb, insert the new one ensuring it fits the shape of the edge, reconnect the plug and secure it with the metal clip. Refit the previously removed protective cap.
