Fiat 500 - Video tutorial

Model: Fiat 500 312 - Years 2007-2021
Part: Front bumper
Operation: How to remove the front bumper of the Fiat 500.

As with any maintenance operation to be performed on any car, we begin by placing the car (in our case, the Fiat 500) on a floor or on the deck, in order to safeguard the operator's safety and thus guarantee safety and stability in the execution of the work. Now, using the appropriate wrench, unscrew the four bolts that are on the upper edge of the bumper (between the two headlights). Once this is done, we unscrew the three screws plus the screw immediately under the bumper (at the front) that secure the stone guard inside the bumper. Below the stone guard, we find another screw that secures the bumper on the side. Same operations, must be performed on the other side. At this point, we unscrew the three screws that lock the bumper in the lower part and proceed to extract it from its seat, starting from the side parts. Once removed, disconnect the electrical cables from the headlights and that's it!

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
