How Can I Replace the Remote Battery in My Fiat 500X?

This brief guide will show you how to replace the battery in the key fob of your Fiat 500X. First, take your remote and slide the metal key release button; once the key pops out, use a screwdriver to pry open the cover of the key (in the space where the metal key sits). As shown in the video, pry until the plastic of the battery holder separates, then extract the battery from the key with a small screwdriver. At this point, take a new battery of the same size and voltage and fit the small battery into the compartment, then reassemble the cover. Check the remote's functionality by pressing the buttons.
