Replacing the Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Before applying the new gasket, it is absolutely essential to thoroughly clean the gasket seating, both on the cylinder head side and the manifold side: remove any dirt and deposits that could compromise the adhesion and sealing of the gasket. Once cleaning is complete, insert the new gasket, made of two metal elements, aligning it with the dowel pins. Fit the exhaust manifold and tighten the securing nuts in a cross pattern using a torque wrench. There is no need to apply gasket sealant.
