This tutorial shows how to replace the diesel filter on a Fiat Punto 1.3 MultiJet, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the engine is completely cold, then open the bonnet and locate the filter on the passenger side. Next, disconnect both fuel pipes by releasing the clips, unscrew the mounting bracket bolt with a 10mm socket, and separate the filter from the support. At this point, simply disconnect the lower sensor, connect it to the replacement, and fit the new part by following the reverse procedure.
