The rear brake shoes wear out over time and will inevitably need replacing. This video outlines the step-by-step procedure to complete the job yourself. Before starting disassembly, lift the vehicle for easier access. Remove the wheel and disassemble the hub by unscrewing the pins for both, possibly using an air impact wrench. If necessary, use a screwdriver to lever, especially when extracting the hub. At this point, remove the locking forks of the shoes and before pulling them out, detach the oil pipe from them. The reverse procedure allows you to fit the new shoes and complete the job.
