How to Change the Crankshaft Pulley on a Ford Focus 2.0 TDCI

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

This guide shows how to remove and replace the crankshaft pulley on a Ford Focus 2.0 TDCI. First, open the bonnet of your car and start by removing the coolant reservoir by disconnecting the hoses and unscrewing the securing bolts; then loosen the tensioner by removing the serpentine belt from the various pulleys, as shown in the video. At this point, lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel; then unscrew the central bolt of the crankshaft pulley to remove it and replace it with the new one!
