This guide shows how to replace the battery and clean the remote for the Ford Figo Aspire Mk2. The first step is to open the key fob and, using a small plastic pry tool, lift and open the back cover of the remote; pry on all sides to disconnect all the retaining clips. Remove the old battery by prying it out from the edge. Use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the retaining screw of the cover; pry between the two sides of the remote to open it completely. At this point, you can remove the circuit board and clean the piece. To reassemble, simply follow the steps in reverse.
