Today we will see how to overhaul the braking system and how to replace the rear brake pads of a 2003 Gasgas 300 motorcycle. Let's take care of the disassembly and replacement of the rear brake pads; then we unscrew the fixing screws of the caliper and we go to lever inside the caliper in order to make the piston return as much as possible. At this point we remove the caliper and remove the central pin: remove the old pads and replace them with new ones, of good quality and of the right type. Clean the caliper from carbon residues and reassemble all components!

How to replace the front brake pads on the Ktm Super Adventure 1290

Today we will see, in this video tutorial, how to disassemble and replace the front brake pads of the Ktm Super Adventure 1290 motorcycle. First of all, put our motorcycle on the stand and start unscrewing and removing the central locking pin of the brake pads with a pliers; then we lever the caliper piston to make it retract, in order to remove the old brake pads, as shown in the video. At this point, let's clean up the caliper and install the new brake pads; then let's fix them correctly, inserting and locking the pin!
