To replace the brake pads on a Gilera DNA 50, loosen the bolts securing the brake caliper to the brake disc and disconnect the connector attached to it. Once the caliper is freed from the disc, open it by loosening the two pins that hold it closed and remove the pads inside. These must be replaced with new replacement parts. Once the new pads are inserted into the caliper, close it by inserting the respective pins and reconnect it to the disc with the appropriate bolts and connector.
